Zoey May Castillo

Zoey May Castillo, 25, of Jones Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away March 11, 2024 at her home. Cremation will take place. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 23, 2024 at New Song Fellowship with Pastor John W. Burke officiating.

Zoey was born August 18, 1998 in Carlsbad, NM.  She received a diploma in 2018.  Zoey worked as a home health assistant. She enjoyed the role of being a mother and was a mother to many.  Zoey loved animals of all kinds.  She was a sweet soul and had a huge heart.  Zoey was preceded in death by her grandmothers: Connie Fry and Nancy Dorsey.

Survivors are her fiancé, Gabriel R. O’Brien; son, Aiden Castillo; mother, Mary West; father, John Dorsey; sisters: Vanessa Flanigan and husband, Jason, Erica Aquino; brothers: Frank Meek, Cory Meek, Robert Meek, Shaun Meek; niece, Lilly; nephews: Trevor, William and Max, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
