Zane Mack Williams was born on February 14, 1957, in Carlsbad, New Mexico, to Gerald and Billie (McAllister) Williams. Zane was a true friend in every sense—loyal, kind, and always present when it mattered most. To know Zane was to feel truly seen. He had a rare way of making people feel at ease, accepted, and appreciated just as they were. He never pretended to be anyone but himself, and that honesty was a gift to everyone who knew him. His absence leaves a silence that echoes deeply, but his spirit lives on in the lives he touched and the love he gave so freely. Zane had a deep love for tattoos and dogs—both reflections of his bold spirit and big heart. His ink told the story of a life fully lived, each design carrying meaning and memory. Dogs brought him joy and comfort, and he shared an unspoken bond with every pup he met. These passions were a true part of who he was and what made him unforgettable.
Zane was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Finn and Cody. Survivors are his daughter, Merica Busch, and her husband, Gabriel, of Carlsbad, New Mexico; grandchildren, Makayla Busch, Cody Busch, and Emily Busch; siblings, Hubert "Hoot" Wright and his wife, Pat, of Navasota, Texas, twin brother, Dane Williams, of Lockney, Texas, sister, Kori Sutton, and her husband, Charles, of Grandview, Texas, best friend, Tausha Klug of Carlsbad , New Mexico and nephews, Jeremy, Jason, Benjamin and Ivan.
