William "Paul" Miller

William “Paul” Miller, 64, of Carlsbad, NM, passed away April 21, 2023 at Carlsbad Medical Center. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Friday, April 28, 2023 at Carlsbad Cemetery with Pastor Javier Gonzalez officiating. Carlsbad Veterans Honor Guard will provide military honors.

Paul was born November 3, 1958 in Carlsbad, NM to William and Gloria (Knox) Miller.  He graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1976.  Paul served his country in the U.S. Army in special forces and received the sharp shooter qualification badge. He married Vi September 7, 1991.  Paul worked as an appraiser for Eddy County several years.  He was a natural musician and enjoyed playing the drums.  Paul was also a talented artist and marksman.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Vicenta “Vi” Miller; son, Daniel Miller; daughter, Christina Boula and husband, Brandon; grandson, Logan Orion; sisters: Debbie Melton and husband, Carl, Sharla Dempsey and husband, Mike and several nieces and nephews.
