Virginia "Ginnie" L. Skinner

Virginia “Ginnie” L. Skinner, 93, of Primrose St., Carlsbad, NM went home to be with the Lord and her husband Dean on October 9, 2022, at White Sands Healthcare Center in Hobbs, NM.

She was born January 23, 1929, to James and Ila Phillips.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, October 15, 2022, at 10:00 am at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Alicia Walker, her granddaughter will be conducting the services.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dean Skinner, daughter Deanette Payne, sister Dorothy, and her mother and father James and Ila Phillips.

She is survived by son, Terry and Marian Skinner of West Bradenton, FL; daughter, Rita and Joe Hanley of Earlville, IL; daughter, Lori and Vince Goeke of Carlsbad, NM; and son, Jerry Skinner of Tucson, AZ; 18 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.

She was loved by all who met her. She loved her family and friends and always made sure all had plenty to eat, and of course something sweet.
