Tomasa J. Bustamante

Tomasa J. Bustamante, 81, of Roundup Road, Carlsbad, New Mexico passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family. Tomasa was born on December 29, 1939, in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico to Venancio and Juliana Jimenez.

Visitation is scheduled from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday, June 6, 2021, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel. Following there will be a vigil at 7:00 PM Sunday, June 6, 2021, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 AM Monday, June 7, 2021, at the Carlsbad Cemetery in Carlsbad, NM with Deacon Tony Dominguez officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Tomasa was preceded in death by her father, Venancio Jimenez; mother, Juliana Jimenez; son, Javier Bustamante; and daughter, Maribel Bustamante Morales.

Tomasa is survived by her husband, Miguel Bustamante of Carlsbad, NM; daughter, Martha Juarez and husband, Manuel of Carlsbad, NM; son, Miguel A. Bustamante of Carlsbad, NM; son, Jaime Bustamante of Carlsbad, NM; daughter, Norma Bustamante of Carlsbad, NM; son, Oliver Bustamante of Carlsbad, NM; son, Joel Bustamante of Carlsbad, NM; son, Guadalupe Bustamante of Carlsbad, NM; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
