Timoteo "Tim" De La Paz, II

Timoteo “Tim” De La Paz, II, 65, of S. 6th Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away February 3, 2026 at Carlsbad Medical Center. Cremation has taken place and upon his request there will be no services.

Tim was born September 11, 1960, in San Diego, Texas, to Timoteo and Maria (Guzman) De La Paz, I. He enjoyed driving a truck for most of his career and was a “jack of all trades”. Tim was an outdoorsman, often camping, fishing, and hunting. He was a person who was always willing to help others. Tim was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ricardo De La Paz, and sister, Maria Fuentes.

Survivors are his daughters: Patricia Rubio and husband, Chris, Beronica De La Paz; sons: Timoteo De La Paz, III and wife, Veronica C. Jimenez and Ricky De La Paz; grandchildren: Maria Singh and husband, Akash, Christopher Villa, Alexius Villa, Destiny Biscaino, Jeremy Biscaino, Ricardo De La Paz, Max De La Paz, Natalie De La Paz, Jazmin Espinoza, Diego Eduardo Jimenez Rodriguez; great-grandchildren: Isaac Singh and Gabriel Singh; sisters: Gloria Tanguma, Sylvia Betterton, Noelia De La Paz, Elva Amesquita, and numerous nieces and nephews.
