Terry Lynn Ryan

Terry Lynn Ryan, 78, of Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away on October 24, 2026.

Terry was born on November 27, 1947, in San Angelo, Texas, to Darrell Ryan and Florence Kidd. He spent much of his life serving others as a firefighter and first responder. He was a proud and patriotic man who enjoyed shooting, photography, and traveling by motorcycle with his wife, Kennie.

Terry loved his church, old movies, Westerns, making people laugh, spending time in the mountains, and he especially loved spending time with his grandchildren, whom he adored.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Darrell Ryan and Florence Kidd, and his brother, Doug Ryan.

He is survived by his wife Kennie Ryan; his children, Jennifer Stewart, Stacy Nash, Kathi Porter and Jennifer Wixom; his brother Dean Ryan; numerous grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Terry will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

Services will be held November 10, 2026 at 11:00 am at New Song Christian Fellowship.
