Steven Glen Armstrong, 66, passed away November 9, 2025 at Lakeview Christian Home, Carlsbad, NM.

Graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad NM.

Steven Glen Armstrong was born in Carlsbad, New Mexico on July 4, 1959 to his parents. Marjorie and Glen Armstrong.

After high school, Steven worked at his parents’ locations of Smiley’s Drive- In. He also completed many corresponded college courses. He was a very accomplished classical pianist and studied the works of all the great composers.

Steven married Brenda Rickell on July 7, 2007 in a beautiful garden wedding in Hobbs, NM. Both were members of the Baha’i faith. Steven was a great cook and did all the prep and cooking for them. Brenda was really spoiled. Steven had one sister, Kay Armstrong who passed away in August 2024 in Roswell, NM. Baha’i prayers will be offered November 13, 2025 at graveside.
