Steve Carr

Steve Carr, 58, passed away December 29, 2025 at Carlsbad Medical Center.

Cremation has taken place. Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 10, 2026 at the family’s home.

Steve was born on October 7, 1967 in Carlsbad, NM to Jovita (Chavez) and Billie Carr.

Steve is preceded in death by his father, Billie Carr, brother, Randy Carr, sister, Neidra Carr, brother, Gary Lyon.

Steve is survived by his sons: Steven Carr Jr. and wife, Courtney, Frank Meek and wife, Larrynn, Shawn Meek and wife, Anjelica, Robert Meek and wife, Vanessa; lifetime friend, Brenda Meek; mother, Jovita Carr; siblings: Marie Magby, Johnny Jale Carr and wife, Marla, Cindy Lyon, Tina Gonzales and husband, Sal, Tammy Magby and husband, Lem, Troy Carr; 10 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and God children.

A special thankyou to Tammy Magby and Amanda Methola for not leaving his side. As well as Tina Carrasco and the nursing staff at Carlsbad Medical Center.
