Stacy Stegall

Stacy Stegall, 64, passed away Friday, May 22, 2026 at Carlsbad Medical Center. Visitation will be at 9:00 AM, Monday, June 1, 2026 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM with Pastor Mike Lee officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Carlsbad, NM. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Stacy was born July 25, 1961, in St. Joseph, Missouri to Bobby and Carolyn (Clark) Stegall. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. Stacy moved to Carlsbad after being discharged and began work as an electrician. He was a good mechanic. Stacy loved hanging out with his family. He enjoyed dancing, playing pool, swimming, and fishing. Stacy was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Kelly Stegall and John Thompson.

Survivors are his sons: Stacy Stegall, Jr., Shane Stegall, and Skyler Stegall and wife, Kennice; grandchildren: Roman Stegall and Andre Stegall.

Pallbearers will be Skyler Stegall, Shane Stegall, Henry Williamson, Nick Spillman, Jaden Walker, and Rodney Amos.
