Sharay A. Servance

Sharay A.Vane Servance at the age of 69 passed on to glory on Sunday, October 5th in Roswell, NM. Sharay was born in Carlsbad NM to Beulah Flemming Minner and John “Billy” Minner. She was their first-born child and grew up in Carlsbad, along with her many siblings Wayne Broach, Frankie Minner, Sharece Minner, Steve Moore, Tena Moore, Tamera Moore, Seretha “Gail” Johnson, Kirby Moore, Diana Davis, Dennis Minner, Evelyn “Peewee” Minner, Dorene Hernandez, Tony and Ricky Fierro.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:30 PM, Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Oasis Church in Carlsbad, NM. Interment will follow at Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, NM. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.

Sharay’s life represented her unwavering love for God and her beautiful family. She loved life and the people in it. She was a mother to many, a lover of songs, and used it to praise the Lord her entire life. She was devoted to her passion of praise and worship, which she displayed through various instruments including her beautiful voice. She carried her father’s mantle of leadership and intercession. Sharay spent her years teaching the Holy scriptures to her family. Sharay loved attending her children and grandchildren sporting and performance arts events; alongside her husband Paul Servance. She had a great passion for gardening with her husband. Cooking and baking for and with her family was one of her many joys.

She is survived by her husband Paul Servance, Sons Miguel Jordan (Melinda), Brandon Campbell (Elisabeth), Jon Servance, Andrew Servance, and Tyree Minner; daughters: Precious Nolan, Aunshay Broughton (DeRon), and Sarah Servance. Grandchildren Sylvester Wilkerson III, Mikayla Wilkerson, Jacob Jordan, Jazmyn Davis, Jalen Jordan, Jeremiah Broughton, Tayvin Marsh, Reginald Quincy, Elijah Campbell, Uriah Campbell, Azariah Broughton, Mila Campbell, Aryelah Broughton, Zephaniah Broughton, Kimimela Bentch, Solara Bentch, Hope Bentch, Emmanuel Bentch. Great grandchildren Zae’lyn Jerry, Jezreal Wilkerson, Josiah Davis, Gianna Davis, and Naelani Jordan and a great host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in glory by her father John “Billy” Minner, mother Beulah Flemming Minner, brothers and sisters Tena Moore, Steve Moore, Seretha "Gail" Johnson, Dorene Hernandez, Ricky Fierro, and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Hill, Jacob Jordan, Jalen Jordan, Sylvester Wilkerson, Iran Johnson, Jeremiah Broughton, Elijah Campbell, Joe Ingram. Honorary Pallbearers are David Lewis, Joey Hernandez, Jaime Stearns, Tayvin Marsh, John Minner, Kirby Moore.
