Sergio Venegas-Holguin

Sergio Venegas-Holguin, 26, of N. 5th Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away November 16, 2025 at his home. Visitation will be 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Cremation will follow.

Sergio was born April 17, 1999 in Albuquerque, NM. He lived in Carlsbad the past 10 years. Sergio worked in farming, restaurant, and maintenance – whatever it took to put food on the table. He enjoyed spending time with his kids and having fun. Sergio was preceded in death by his mother, Beatriz Holguin and brother, Andreas Rodriguez.

Survivors are his brothers: Eduardo Holguin and Jaime Holguin; companion, Aliyah Crittendon; daughter, Genesis Venegas Holguin; son, Mateo Venegas Holguin; nephew, Urijah Holguin and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
