Serjio "Chino" Quiroz

Serjio “Chino” Quiroz, 34, of Loving, New Mexico, passed away on March 17, 2026, at his home.

There will be no visitation. A rosary will be recited at 9:30 AM, Thursday, March 26, 2026 at Our Lady of Grace Parish followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM with Fr. Pasala Hruday Kumar officiating. Interment will follow in Loving Cemetery, Loving, NM. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Chino was known for his big heart, generous spirit, and the joy he brought to everyone around him. He loved spending time with his family and friends, always finding a way to make people laugh and feel welcome. He lived life in his own way—free-spirited, humble, and unapologetically himself—and left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Family meant everything to Chino. He shared a special bond with his loved ones and cherished every moment spent together.

He is survived by his mother, Araceli Rodriguez; father, Manuel Puentes; brothers, Armando Rodriguez and Jessi Rodriguez; aunts, Romelia LandaVerde and Angelica Lopez; uncle, Andres Vasquez; grandmother, Catarina Vasquez; and numerous cousins, extended family members, and friends who will miss him deeply.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Manuel Vasquez Sr., and his uncle, Manuel Quiroz.

Chino’s laughter, love, and unforgettable presence will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
