Sarah Blair

Sarah Kathaleen Blair, age 47, of Carlsbad, New Mexico, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior surrounded by the love of her family.

Sarah was born to Kenneth and Carla Blair. Sarah was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, and friend. She shared a special bond with her sister, Allison Crabb, and brother-in-law, Josh Crabb, and was a deeply loving mother to her son, Noah Doporto. She also cherished her relationship with her partner, Henry Doporto, with whom she shared many joyful memories.

Sarah’s life was a reflection of her faith in Christ. She was known for her generosity, her kind heart, and the way she loved people without reservation. To know Sarah was to experience warmth, compassion, and an unwavering willingness to serve others. She truly embodied the command to “love your neighbor,” and her presence left a lasting mark on every life she touched.

Sarah will be remembered not only for her laughter and kindness, but also for her strength, selflessness, and faith. Her family and friends take comfort in knowing that her legacy of love will live on through those who knew her best.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Carl and Ola Fay Emerson, as well as Clint and Wilma Blair.

Survivors include her parents, Kennth and Carla Blair; partner, Henry Doporto; son, Noah Doporto; sister and brother-in-law Allison and Joshua Crabb; she was aunt to her niece Emerson Crabb and nephews Elliott and Easton Crabb; As well her partner’s loving parents Henry Sr. and Lupe Doporto; special friends Angela and Tim Welch and their children Brianna and Jacob Welch.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 5:00 PM -7:00 PM, Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. A celebration of Sarah’s life will be held 2:00 PM Monday, September 15, 2025, at Denton Wood Funeral Home, 1001 N Canal St, Carlsbad, NM 88220. All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend and honor her memory.
