Ruben A. Juarez

Ruben A. Juarez, Jr., 56, of Carlsbad, New Mexico passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2022, in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Ruben was born on January 3, 1966, in Monahans, Texas to Ruben A. Juarez, Sr. and Conception (Jaquez) Juarez.

Cremation has already taken place, and there are no services scheduled at this time. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

After school, Ruben started working in the oilfields around Monahans in 1985 until he moved to Carlsbad in 2003. He then worked over the years at American Pest Control, Carpenters, and Master Lube. Ruben enjoyed the outdoors, and went fishing and camping every chance he could. He loved getting his family together and grilling for everyone. He will be dearly missed and never forgotten.

Ruben was preceded in death by his father, Ruben A. Juarez, Sr.; two siblings: Luis Juarez and Nancy Juarez.

Ruben is survived by his wife of ten years, Criselda Juarez of Monahans, TX; partner of sixteen years, Cecilla Ruiz of Carlsbad, NM; two sons: Isaac Juarez of Carlsbad, NM; and Kris Juarez and Amaris Ybarra of Monahans, TX; two grandchildren: Kalony Lynn Juarez and Gabi Yabarra; mother, Conception (Jaquez) Jaquez of Carlsbad, NM; four step-children: Jessie Alvarado, Mark Alvarado, Martin Alvarado, and Ruby Alvarado; and several nephews and cousins.
