Rose Frazier

Rose Frazier, 96, passed away peacefully November 1, 2025, at her home in Carlsbad, NM surrounded by her loved ones.

Memorial Service is scheduled for 10:00 AM, Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Tony Dominguez, Danny York and Fred Padilla. Interment will follow at Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, NM. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.

Rose was born on April 1, 1929, to John and Mary Stella in the Village of Columbia, Utah. She graduated from Carbon High School, Price UT in 1947 at which time she served as President of the Majorette Club. Rose married Albert W. Frazier on January 17, 1948. They moved to Carlsbad, NM in 1964 where she enjoyed raising her four daughters. Rose later worked at David James for 18 years. She enjoyed bowling with the “Wannabee’s” team and was proud of the fact she bowled two perfect games while playing in the bowling league. Rose also enjoyed embroidering dish towels.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Albert W. Frazier; daughter, Lila Hallman; son-in-law, Paul Hallman; sisters, Mary Stevenson, Tressa Hernandez, Polly Cullen; brothers, Lawrence Stella and George Stella.

She is survived by her daughters, Alberta Lewis, Roberta York and husband, Danny, Felicia Hill and fiancé, Charles Armendariz; grandchildren, Scott Jumper, Amanda Duran, Dustin York, Taylor Lewis, Adrianna Torres, Damian Duran II; great-grandchildren, Chelsi Jumper, Hailie Boulden, Stella Duran, MadaLynn York, Olivia York & Caden Malandris; great-great grandchildren, Max and Maverick Boulden; Dax Duran, Ari and Deklan Torres and grand dog, Winston “Tyson” and numerous nieces and nephews.

A special Thank You to Charles Armendariz for taking such good care of our mother over the past several years. Also, eternally grateful to our dedicated caregivers Loyola (Viola), Irma, Grace, Olga, Barbara, Minerva and staff at Enhabit Hospice.
