Robb attended ECEC, P.R. Leyva Middle School, and Carlsbad High, but later decided school wasn't for him and enrolled in the Eddy County Beauty College to become a barber. He had a passion for cutting hair and would practice on his dad and brother every chance he got, to perfect his craft. He was very competitive with his sister Idalia who also cuts hair. An accomplishment Robb had achieved before leaving us was that he went on to complete the Fire Fighter Combat Challenge and passed his exams. He was in the process of waiting to be hired on.
When he wasn't cutting hair, he loved being with his friend's, his pops, or his brother Juan. He was either fishing, playing golf, playing video games, or playing pool.
Robb loved his daughter Sincere whole heartedly. They often danced together, would listen to music, have lunch dates, hang out at the park, or even just take a cruise. Her tata would call her and ask how her day went daily. They enjoyed lounging around watching funny videos, and movies. They had a bond like no other, sharing a special handshake, and if a promise was made, they had to be sure to keep it. Sincere thought the world of her daddy and would draw him pictures saying “To The Best Dad in The World”. He was her Bestfriend and she was his. You will always be her tata. She loves you and can't wait for the day to be in your arms again.
He was the light of every room he walked into. Anyone who came around him was going to laugh regardless. You would never know when he was having a bad day. It was hidden well with a smile and jokes. He could make his siblings so mad and laugh so hard at the same time.
His brother Juan would like to share that there will be no better person to sit around and make fun of, drink together, fight with, play pool against, or mess with one another. Robb was Juan's backup to call when his sisters were on him. Little did Juan know that Robb wanted no part in going against his sister's, they were mean but even meaner as a pact. Idalia and Francine only ever want what's best for their brothers and always will.
Francine shares that her brother will forever remain in her heart. He carried a special spirit within him, something indescribable, yet deeply felt by all who knew and loved him. His contagious smile, joyful laugh, and vibrant personality could brighten any room he entered. Francine will cherish every memory they created together and will continue to share those stories with his daughter Sincere and all his nieces and nephews. She finds comfort in knowing he is now home in heaven, free from pain and suffering. She asks that he continue to watch over his family and remembers to always kiss her forehead as he always did. Francine expresses her everlasting love for her brother and honors him with these words: I will love you always and forever.
Idalia loved you deeply, you're her baby brother. No one could ever replace the humor and light you brought into their lives. Francine being too serious, and Juan always making her mad, nobody could ever match the way you made your family and friends laugh. You and Idalia shared a bond that was yours alone: the same sense of humor, the same playful spirit. You two were always joking around, teasing each other, clowning each other’s haircuts, trying to steal one another’s clients, even dance-battling just to see who would win. Those moments will forever remain some of her fondest memories of you. The sibling group chat will never feel the same without you. Robb and Idalia were always the ones up late sending funny videos while Francine and Juan tried to sleep and only Robb understood the betrayal of leaving a message on read without reacting to it. The truth is, Idalia will keep sending those videos as if you never left—but if she gets a reaction, she's logging off. Idalia hopes you’re up there laughing, catching up with all your loved ones, and feeling the peace you deserve in your new home. She will miss you for the rest of her life, and will carry your memory with her always.
His mom and dad would like to share that their son is now in Heaven. He was their joy, and now their angel. They will miss you every single day. Your absence is heavy, but your memory is stronger. You gave them more than they ever expected—more joy, more love, more perspective in life and even though your life was too short, your impact was deep. You were their son and you will always be a mamas boy but your dads Bo-Bos. Your pops will miss playing pool and golfing with you. They had a father and son bond like no other.
This isn't however a goodbye, as nothing ever is. This is more of a see you later alligator. Jr, your family loved you more than you knew, they were there for you the entire time, it's unfortunate you had to leave so soon. The room feels darker, holidays and special occasions will feel silent, and time will seem still without you there. Until they see you again please look after your parents, daughter, siblings, nieces and nephews. They need your guidance and protection now more than ever. Your memories will remain alive within them always. We love you forever!
