Celebrating our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, cousin, and uncle, Remigio “Micho” Venegas, who left us too soon. He was a humble hard-working man that worked several jobs throughout his life. He worked hard to provide for his family and helped people in any way he could. Micho enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was very outspoken and funny in his own way. Micho loved to cook, prepare meals for family and friends, and loved to be outdoors working on projects and tending to his yard. He also built his home, brick by brick, alongside his brothers, cousins, brothers-in-law and friends which he was very proud of. And when he tried to speak English, his bold booming attempts brought laughter whether he got the words right. In his own way, he made his mark on all of us.
Micho is survived by his daughter, Abelina Venegas and husband, Arturo Vasquez; sons: Ricardo Venegas, Israel Venegas and wife, Tammy Garcia; 13 grandkids; 14 great-grandkids, several nieces and nephews; sister, Emma Gonzales and husband, Ramon; sister, Maria Del Rufio; brother, Carlos Venegas and wife; brother, Elpidio Venegas and brother, Atilano Venegas and wife, Yolanda.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Susana Venegas; son, Juan Antonio Venegas; grandson, Eugene “Joey” Montez; parents: Refugio and Theodora Venegas; and brothers: Ray, Alberto, and Juan De La Cruz “Juanito” Venegas.
