Remigio "Motito" Morales III

Remigio “Motito” Morales, III, 56, passed away December 11, 2025 in Carlsbad, NM.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at Victory Life Church, Artesia, NM. A Vigil will take place at 5:00 PM, Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Motito’s home.

Motito was born on November 5, 1969 to Esther (Pena) and Remigio Morales Jr. in Carlsbad, NM. He worked as a welder and later did plaster work. Motito enjoyed collecting many things including stamps and Coca-Cola products. He loved bikes and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Motito was a kind-hearted soul and cherished his family and his four-legged companion, Giant.

He was preceded in death by his father, Remigio Morales Jr.; brother, Cy Daniel Morales; and sister, Helen Bojorquez.

Motito is survived by his son, Remigio R. Moralez, IV; daughter, DaLinda Martinez and husband, Daniel; mother, Esther Boyd and husband, Jerry Lee; grandchildren: Estrella Morales, SyLynda Martinez, Daniel Martinez, Jr.; sisters: Abbie Cordova, Gloria Sena and husband, Art, Brenda Lee Valdez and husband, Johnny, Mary Chavez; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
