Reba Mitchell

Reba Mitchell, 66 of Valverde Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away March 3, 2024 at her home. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Friday, March 15, 2024 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John W. Burke and Pastor David Prell officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Gardens Memorial Park, Carlsbad, NM.

She graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1975.  Reba worked for her aunt, Billie McNew at McNew Data Processing for a number of years. She was active at her church. Reba had a kind and giving heart, always helping others.  She was preceded in death by her parents: Pat and Nettie Mitchell; infant sister, Annette Mitchell; brother, Randy Keith Mitchell, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Survivors are her cousins: Melinda Proctor, Brad Jackson, Stephanie Atkins, Amy Harsch, Jody Jack, Bill Mitchell and Misty Skinner; special friends: Barbara Robertson and Marcus Miles.
