Ray Trivitt

Obituary Ray Trivitt of Carlsbad, NM, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2020. Ray was born to Author and Dessie Trivitt in Carlsbad, NM in 1940. He worked in the oilfield for many years then went to work at the potash mines. He married his wife, Patricia Trivitt on April 26, 2015. Ray loved his family very much. He was a very caring man. He loved hunting and fishing. He was known for his smile and his laughter. Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Trivitt; daughters: Debra Eakin, Lynda Butler and Sherry Rutledge; son, Cliff Shannon; grandchildren: Mary Jean Auld-Gunther and Riley Rutledge. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Trivitt; children: Cindy Trivitt, Mary King and husband, Fred, Kathy Thomas and husband, Rick, Nancy Trivitt, Patricia Price and husband, Kevin, Amy Bolen and husband, Fred, Ronnie Rutledge and wife, Catherine, Ricky Rutledge and wife, Shanna, Dean Rutledge, Robert Rutledge, Renee Rutledge and husband, David; grandchildren: Kyle Shannon and 36 additional grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.
