Paul Lloyd Pratt

Paul Lloyd Pratt passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025. He was born on April 9, 1960, in Danville, Illinois to Robert and Bonnie Pratt.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Pratt Sr. and by his brother, Thomas Pratt.

He is survived by his mother, Bonnie Mead, brother, Robert Pratt Jr. (and wife Barb), sister Jamie Neathery (and husband Eddie), all of Hoopeston, Illinois, and sister Julia Anderson, residing in California; daughters Elizabeth Pratt (and partner Isaac Ramirez) and Rebecca Pratt (and partner Cy Morales), both of Carlsbad, New Mexico, and Heather Morris, of Columbus, Georgia; and grandsons Carter Stratton and Cy Morales II, both of Carlsbad, New Mexico.

Cremation has taken place. Public services will be held at a later date.

Paul grew up in Hoopeston, Illinois, graduating from Hoopeston High School in 1978. He enlisted in the US Army, military police and served two years. He moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado and held various jobs – painting, hotel occupations, security, and retail sales. He moved to Carlsbad, New Mexico in 2012 to be near his daughters Elizabeth and Rebecca, where he worked in automobile sales. He retired in 2023.

Paul leaves behind many friends and family members who will recall all their special memories and stories about him.
