Patricia B. Martinez

Patricia B. Martinez, 80, passed away on November 8, 2025 at her home in Carlsbad, NM.

Rosary will be recited for 9:30 AM, Tuesday, November 18, 2025, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at San Jose Catholic Church with Fr. Juan Carlos Ramirez officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, NM. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Patricia was born to David Martinez and Marina (Buendia) Martinez on March 17, 1945 in Carlsbad, NM. Patricia received nurses training Albuquerque, NM. She worked at Lakeview Christian Home for a number of years and retired from New Mexico Heath Care after more than 25 years of service.

Her son Roland Martinez was the love of her life. She was a devoted Catholic attending at San Jose Catholic Church. She helped serving in the Alter Society and meals after funeral services.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter, Ester, sisters: Pauline Rodriguez and Frances Calderon; brother, Thomas B. Martinez.

She is survived by son, Roland Martinez; sister-in-law, Josie Martinez; sister, Senona Nieto; brothers Johnny B. Martinez and wife, Yolana, Julian B. Martinez and wife, Mary Ann, David B. Martinez and wife, Sally; and numerous nieces and nephews.
