Otilia "Tillie" Balderrama

Otilia (Tillie) R. Balderrama, 88, of Monterey Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away on Saturday, January 31,2026 at Carlsbad Medical Center Carlsbad, NM.

Otilia was born to late Manuel Rodriguez and Fe Sillas in Ft. Davis, Texas on April 9, 1937.

There will be no visitation. Graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Friday, February 6, 2026, at Santa Catarina Cemetery with Deacon Manuel Chavez officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Otilia is survived by daughter, Annabelle Mills; granddaughter, Lison Mills; grandson, Jeff (Anna) Mills; her great-grandchildren, Lyric, Lexoni, Maliq, Roshan, Korda, Kyrique Mills, Michele and Lilly Ortiz; brothers: Ernesto (Elvira) Rodriguez, Robert Rodriguez; sisters: Anna (Lito) Uranga, Patsy Fierro and Birdie Rodriguez; sister-in-law, Regina Rodriquez; granddaughter, Miarah Balderrama.

She is proceeded in death by her brother: Fred Rodriquez.
