Ofelia M. Carrasco

Ofelia M. Carrasco, 75, of E. Plum Lane, Carlsbad, NM, passed away December 26, 2022 at Carlsbad Medical Center. Cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, January 2, 2023 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Tony Dominguez officiating.

Ofelia was born November 16, 1947 in Odessa, Texas to Ramon and Consuelo (Marufo) Carrasco.  She enjoyed cooking and gambling.  Ofelia loved her dogs and walking by the beach.  She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Beatrice Acosta; 2 grandsons; 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Survivors are her husband, John Lane; children: Vincent Salava and wife, Mary, Sylvia Neely and husband, Terry, Fernando Acosta and wife, Christina, Dianna Acosta, Priscilla Acosta and Veronica Acosta; 24 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
