Obrey "Tom" Davis

Obrey “Tom” Davis, 94, of San Juan Manor, Carlsbad, NM, passed away December 29, 2023 at his home.  Cremation will take place and a memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Destry McDonald officiating.

Tom was born October 23, 1929 in Wichita Falls, Texas to John and Lorena (Bevers) Davis.  He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.  Tom worked for Gardener Zemke Electrical Contractors for many years.  He was a journeyman electrician through IBEW Local 357.  Tom worked as an electrician in construction until retiring in 1995.  He received his 60-year pin through IBEW.  Tom enjoyed working and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.  He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Carol Lane and brother, Johnnie Davis.

Survivors are his wife, Cecilia Davis; son, Thomas H. Davis; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
