Norma Means Hunt

Norma Hunt, 91, passed away December 16, 2025 at GoodLife Assistance Living surrounded by her family. A family service will be held at a later date in Oklahoma, where she had lived for the past 11 years.

Norma was born in Hope New Mexico on January 20, 1934 to Johnnie R. and Thelma Means. She married Richard L. (Dick) Hunt on April 30, 1951 and together they had 4 children. Norma was a wife, homemaker, wonderful mother, and an even better Nanny to many.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her sister, Regina Eubank; her brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Loyzelle Hunt; and her brother-in-law, Bill McKim. Survivors include her daughters, Jan Nesbit and Kathy Magby and husband Justin; and her sons, Johnny Hunt and wife Patty, and Ronnie Hunt and wife Cheryl. Also surviving Norma are her sister, Bettye McKim; her brother, Oran Means; her sister-in-law, Marcia Westfall and husband Frank; her sister-in-law, Zana Hunt; and numerous nieces and nephews. Norma had nine grandchildren: Tricia Aldaz (Gary), Curtis Nesbit (Lisa), Wesley Magby (Jolene), Kristy Magby (Arvel Yaste), Brent Hunt (LeiAnna), Richard Hunt (April), Jacob Hunt (Shelby), Adam Hunt (Megan), and Emily Johnson (Jeff). She also had 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by children of her heart, Steve Nesbit and Mark and Jo Wilkinson.

We wish to thank the Goodlife Senior Living Home for all the loving care they gave Norma. She loved you all so much. Also, a thank you to the staff of Enhabit Hospice. Your compassion and care made her journey easier.
