Norma Ewers

Norma Ewers, 92, Carlsbad, NM, passed away December 26, 2022 at her home. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery.

Norma was born August 2, 1930 in Banner, Oklahoma to Ulis and Mary (Sutterfield) Branscum.  She married Leroy Ewers February 21, 1947 here in Carlsbad.  Norma and Leroy owned and operated El Patio 42 years before retiring. She loved line dancing and traveling.  Norma was a member of the First Christian Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leroy Ewers; daughter, Kathie and sister, Sue Miller.

Survivors are her daughter, Krenie Ewers; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and special caregivers, Van Jarvis and Richard Elizondo.
