Nathaniel Gordon

Nathaniel Gordon, 23, of S. Ash Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away June 25, 2026 at his home. Visitation will be 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Thursday, July 2, 2026 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Friday, July 3, 2026 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, NM. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Nathaniel was born January 14, 2003 in El Paso, Texas and moved to Carlsbad in 2017, his freshman year of high school. He worked in the oil field as a mechanic. Nathan enjoyed spending time with his friends and especially his two kids, Katileya and Katiano. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, David Herrera.

Survivors are his mother, Lorena Granger; daughter, Katileya Gordon; son, Katiano Gordon; brothers: Isaac Ontiveros and Elijah Gordon; grandmother, Velia Ontiveros and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Antonio Torres, Jerry Ontiveros, Isaac Ontiveros, Elijah Gordon, Matthew Messer, and Dalton Grant.
