Nathan Hinojos Sosa

Nathan Hinojos Sosa, 50, former resident, passed away Monday, May 6, 2024 at John Peter Smith Hospital in Ft. Worth, Texas.  Visitation will be 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Monday, May 13, 2024 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home.   A rosary will be recited at 9:30 AM, Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at San Jose Catholic Church followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM, with Fr. Juan Carlos Ramirez officiating.  Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico.  Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Nathan was born October 11, 1973 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Henry and Anita (Hinojos) Sosa.  He graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1991.   Nathan worked for Staples 20 years.   He most recently worked at Anchor Fabrication in Ft. Worth.  Nathan enjoyed gardening, bar-b-quing and spending time with family and friends.   He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Pedro and Nestora Sosa, and Alfredo and Gloria Hinojos, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Survivors are his parents: Henry and Anita Sosa; siblings: Henry H. Sosa, Jr., Grace Ann Duran and husband, Tony, Aaron Sosa; nine nieces and nephews, five great-nieces and nephews, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Henry Sosa, Jr., Aaron Sosa, Michael Sosa, Tony Duran, and David Hinojos.
