Nathan K. Allen, 47, of Soper Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Carlsbad Medical Center. Cremation has taken place and there will be no public service. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Nathan K. Allen was born September 6, 1966 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Melvin and Louise (Elliott) Allen. He was preceded in death by his sister, Anita Allen McCollaum and niece, Kellie Don Garrett. Survivors are his parents: Melvin and Louise Allen of Maud, Oklahoma; sister, Shelly Allen of Maud, Oklahoma and nephew, T. J. Atwater of Carlsbad, NM. Condolences may be expressed at dentonwood.com.
