Natalia Bautista, 73, of East Cedar Street, Loving, New Mexico, passed away Monday, June 7, 2021, at Carlsbad Medical Center. Natalia Bautista was born July 3, 1947, in Loving, New Mexico to Ignacio S. and Leonor (Dominguez) Lopez.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Sunday, June 13, 2021, at Our Lady of Grace, Loving, New Mexico. Vigil will be at 6:00 PM at Our Lady of Grace, Loving, New Mexico. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, June 14, 2021, 10:00 AM, at Our Lady of Grace, Loving, New Mexico with Fr. Pasala Hruday Kumar officiating. Interment will follow in Loving Cemetery, Loving, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge pf the arrangements.

Natalia L. Bautista, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, friend, and confidant. Natalia, known to her siblings and relatives as Tala or just “Mama”. Her role as a mama was synonymous with ‘Mamas house”. Her home where the door was always open and open to everyone, where food and coffee was always readily available and good New Mexican food that was just a little Mexican but always a comfort. Natalia, Mamá may you Rest In Peace because you always said it how it was and that is why you “always did it ‘your’ way”.

Natalia was preceded in death by her husband: Jose Bautista and daughter: Guadalupe “Gina” Van-Baskirk; brother: Vivian Lopez and sister: Teresa Morales.

Survivors are her cat: “Kitty Cat”; her dogs: Chiquita and Lola; loving faithful companion and Aunt: Natavidad-Dominguez; sons: Reynaldo Bautista, Carlos Bautista and wife, Candiace, Jose Bautista and Raul Bautista and wife, Rosa; daughters: Natalia Mease and, Leslie and Vanessa Bautista and Maria Atencio; brothers: Eusebio Lopez and wife Rosa, Ramon Lopez and wife Cuca, and Ygnacio Lopez and wife Joann; sisters: Margareta Onsurez and husband Raul, Sylvia Urban and husband Jim, and Maxine Lopez and husband Robert; and numerous nieces and nephews.
