Mike Shastid, 69, of Martin Lane., Carlsbad, NM, passed away Friday, August 14, 2026. Private services have taken place. Mike was born June 4, 1957, in Abilene, TX to Leroy and Bobbie (Story) Shastid and moved to Carlsbad in 1969. He was preceded in death by his mother Bobbie Shastid and brothers Lynn and Danny Shastid. Survivors are his father, Leroy Shastid, brother Jason Shastid; nephews Robert and Dakota Shastid, and niece, Brittany Shastid.
