Mary C. Trujillo

Mary C. Trujillo, 79, of Laredo Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away May 3, 2022 at her home.  Visitation will be 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home.  A vigil will be held at 6:00 PM, Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel.  Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10:00 AM, Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at San Jose Catholic Church with Fr. Juan Carlos Ramirez officiating.  Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery.  Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mary was born January 14, 1943 in Carlsbad, NM to Theodore and Erminia (Pedroza) Castillo.  She enjoyed crocheting and cooking for her family, but most of all spending time with her family.  Mary was preceded in death by her parents; sons: Martin and Antonio Trujillo; daughter, Betty Ruiz; great-grandchildren: Chevy, Aylanni, Kyser; brothers: Manuel Castillo and Joe Castillo.

Survivors are her husband of 54 years, Pablo H. Trujillo; children: Florencio Ruiz and partner, Wanda, Cecilia Ruiz and partner, Ruben, Pedro Trujillo and wife, Dawn, Johnny Trujillo and wife, Maria, Santos Gonzalez and husband, Joe; 25 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; brothers: Robert Castillo, Enocincio Castillo, Tony Castillo and Lupe Castillo; sisters: Conception Buendia, Connie Collier, Carmen Hernandez and numerous nieces and nephews.
