Mary S. Logan

Mary S. Logan, 70, of W. Riverside Drive, Carlsbad, NM, passed away September 23, 2025 at her home. 

Cremation has taken place and private family services will be held.

Mary Grace Sockwell was born August 15, 1955, in Ft. Bragg, NC to Grady and Lutricia (Thompson) Sockwell. She was married to Brant L. Logan November 10, 1979 in Cloudcroft, NM. Mary was a horse breeder and trainer as well as a ranch manager in Otero County for many years. She had been a biologist after graduating from Auburn University. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mary is survived by her husband, Brant Logan and brother, Ray Sockwell and wife, Maggie.
