Martin Shepherd

Obituary Martin William Shepherd, 87, of West Pierce Street passed away on May 31, 2019, at Lakeview Christian Home in Carlsbad, New Mexico. He was born on August 12, 1931, to Byron and Edna Shepherd in Enid, Oklahoma. Martin had a big heart and always looked for opportunities to give and serve others. He loved the Lord and was a faithful husband. He commonly would express that, This place was nothing more than to pass through, and he lived to tell others the love and truth of Jesus Christ. Martin was a kind and caring person, and loved spending quality time with his friends and family. He will be missed and remembered always. He was preceded in death by her father, Byron William Shepherd; mother, Edna (Church) Shepherd; wife, Imojene Shepherd; and siblings. He is survived numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place, and services will be scheduled at a later date. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
