Martin Lee Fanning, Jr.

Martin Lee Fanning Jr. passed away October 7, 2021. He was born February 19, 1934 in Artesia, New Mexico to Martin Lee “Mart” and Elizabeth “Betty” Bell Hull Fanning. He was the eldest of three children.

He served his country in the US Army from 1956 to 1958. Martin enjoyed hunting, fishing, and family history. He was known for his unique sense of humor, caring heart, and his generosity. Martin was always ready to help anyone in need. He is greatly missed by his family and friends.

Burial took place in the McDonald Cemetery, Eddy County, NM.

Martin is survived by his cousins and extended family.
