Marsha Morrison Godinez

Marsha Morrison Godinez, 73, of Artesia, NM, passed away February 27, 2026, at Mountainview Healthcare, El Paso, Texas. Cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Marsha was born May 12, 1952, in Malone, New York to Howard and Naomi (Labombard) Morrison. She graduated from Ellenburg High School, Ellenburg, NY in 1969. Marsha worked as a nurse in Malone, NY and Plattsburgh, NY until retiring in 2002 and moved to Artesia, NM. She and Alex enjoyed fishing and traveling. Marsha was a loving mother and wife. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors are her husband, Alex Godinez; children: Sandra Perry and husband, Jamie, Sherry Longe, Chad Boadway, Heather Marlow and husband, Jeff; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Howard Morrison and several nieces and nephews.
