Obituary Lisa Dalrymple Johnson, 49, of Carlsbad, passed away August 4, 2019. Visitation will be 9 AM 11 AM, Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM, Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Tony Dominguez officiating. Cremation will take place following the service and burial will take place in Grand Junction, CO at a later date. Lisa was born January 7, 1970 in Greeley, Colorado to Ronald and Connie (Carbajal) Dalrymple and graduated from Salida High School in Salida, Colorado. She also lived in Texas before moving to Carlsbad in 2010. Lisa worked for Jade Construction and David Fritschy, CPA. She fought an honorable battle with diabetes for 39 years along with regular trips to dialysis. The family would like to thank the staff at DCI and the EMTs that continually cared and supported Lisa during her battle. Her passion was her two wonderful daughters. Lisa was preceded in death by her infant son, son, Derrick Johnson; grandparents: Pilar and Jenny Carbajal, Ronald and Dorothy Dalrymple. Survivors are her daughters: Taylor Johnson and Hailey Johnson; special friend, Herman J.J. Montoya; parents: Ronald and Connie Dalrymple; brothers: Peter Dalrymple and wife, Shelly and Joshua Dalrymple and partner, Kim Bahr and nephew, Nathanial Dalrymple; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; special friend, Diane Johnson; Godfather, Joe Carbajal. She will be missed and cherished by all who were touched by her.
