Linda Sue Poe Moran

Linda Sue Poe Moran, 78, of Carlsbad, NM, passed away October 9, 2024 at Carlsbad Medical Center. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at Carlsbad Cemetery with Chaplain Terry McKean officiating.

Linda Sue was born October 1, 1946, in McCurtain, Oklahoma, to William and Vivian (Barkley) Poe. She worked as a waitress for many years. Linda Sue later became certified nurse and worked as a home health nurse. She enjoyed dancing and was a devoted Christian. Linda Sue was preceded in death by her parents; son, Eddie Dean, and daughter, Dianna Lindsey.

Survivors are her sons: Justin Moran, Robert “Bobby” Friend; grandchildren: Hailey Metheny, Marshall Horn, Michael Horn, Jennifer Lynne, Lisa Dean, and Edward James Dean; brother, David Poe, and numerous nieces and nephews.
