Linda (Ornelas) Hinojos

Linda (Ornelas) Hinojos, 67, of Big Spring, Texas passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022.  Cremation has taken place and there will be no public services.

Linda was born in Barstow, California on September 17, 1954 to Frank Ornelas, Sr. and Angelita (Florez) Ornelas.  She grew up in Loving, NM and later moved with her family to Bayard, NM in 1965.  Her family moved back to Loving in 1990.  Linda enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, crossword puzzles.  She was an excellent cook.  Linda was preceded in death by her parents: Frank and Angelita (Florez) Ornelas, Sr.; brother, Frank Ornelas, Jr. and a grandson. 

Survivors are her daughter, Delilah Moncada of Kileen, Texas; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; siblings: Ida Parraz and husband, Alex of Loving, NM, Irma Pena and husband, Tony of Santa Clara, NM, Yolanda Garcia and husband, Albino of Carlsbad, NM, Beatrice Alirez and husband, Ernesto of Loving, NM, Ramon Ornelas and wife, Rosemary of Loving, NM; numerous extended family and friends. 

Linda will be dearly missed by all who knew her.  Forever in our hearts.  Rest in peace.
