Leonor O. Fuentez, 67, of Portillo Road, Carlsbad, NM passed away March 22, 2021 at her home.

Visitation will be 4 PM – 7 PM, Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Visitation is limited to 20 people in the chapel at a time and facial coverings are required. A private graveside service will be held at Loving Cemetery with Pastor Fabio Perrez officiating. Leonor was born February 10, 1954 in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico to Nerio and Cruz (Sotelo) Olivas. She married Pedro G. Fuentez in 1975. Leonor loved cooking for her family and spending time with her grandkids. She was a member of Iglesia Evangelica Christiana Espiritual where she was very involved. Leonor was preceded in death by her parents and brothers: Hector Olivas and Jose Louis Olivas.
Survivors are her husband, Pedro Fuentez, Sr.; sons: Pedro Fuentez, Jr., Hector Fuentez and Alfonso Fuentez and wife, Annabell; grandchildren: Luiz Fuentez and wife, Kristen, Sergio Fuentez and wife, Karina, Diego Fuentez, Isaiah Fuentez, Kieran Fuentez, Christopher Fuentez, Amaree Fuentez, Joshua Fuentez, Daisy Fuentez, Daileen Fuentez, Candice Fuentez, Adrian Fuentez, Basni Fuentez, Aracely Fuentez, Samuel Fuentez, Isabel Fuentez, Abisai Fuentez and Caleb Fuentez; great-grandchildren: Felix Fuentez and Autumn Fuentez; brothers: Adolfo Olivas, Juan Olivas and wife, Lupe, Mario Olivas and wife, Monica, Ralph Olivas and wife, Ruby, Robert Olivas; sisters: Yolanda Duenez and husband, Guerrero, Marisela Olivas and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Luis Fuentez, Sergio Fuentez, Adolfo Olivas, Jr., Dario Duenez, Adrian Fuentez and Christopher Fuentez.
