Laura A. Clark, 50, of Patrick Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2011 at her home. There will be no visitation, cremation will take place and no public services will be held. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Laura A. Clark was born August 25, 1961 in Carlsbad, NM to Prentice D. and Lavonia (Barnes) Powers. She is survived by her life partner, Fred Ward; three sons: Nathan Powers, Harold Clark, Jason Clark; four brothers: Rusty, Michael, Wayne, David and one sister, Deena.
