Larry Burnette

Larry Burnette, 49, of Carlsbad, NM, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2025. Cremation will take place and a memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ronald McDuff officiating.

Larry was born December 10, 1975 in Farmington, NM to Larry and Sherri (Graham) Burnette, Sr. He graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1995. Larry began his career at Sun Country Steel which his father owned. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan and enjoyed riding motorcycles. Larry loved his four-legged girls, Lucy, Marley, and Teressa. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Burnette, Sr. and mother, Sherri Burnette.

Survivors are his wife, Amanda Burnette; sons: Liam Burnette, Hunter Cunningham, Josiah Cunningham and Melody Cox; grandson, Asher Cunningham, and other extended family.
