Karlena Beeson

Karlena Rae Beeson, 61, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, previous resident of Carlsbad, NM, went to be with our Lord and Savior Tuesday, May 7th, 2024, at home surrounded by family. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 pm, May 18th, 2024 at Oasis Church with Pastor Gabe Rubio officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, NM. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Karlena Rae Beeson was born April 29th, 1963, in Carlsbad, NM, to Daniel Ray Lambert and Carlyn Jean Lambert. Karlena was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She devoted her life to the Lord and to her family. Karlena never met a stranger and she saw the good in everyone she met. She loved reading her Bible and passing the message she received to family and friends. She was extremely proud of her family and would be the first to express the excitement of accomplishments to be had.

Karlena married Roy B. Beeson, Jr. March 14th, 1991, in which they shared the past 33 years together, 14 years in Carlsbad, NM, 15 years in Amarillo, TX, and the past 4 years being in Oklahoma City, OK. She followed Roy for his work, but her heart was always at home in Carlsbad, where so many memories growing up with family were made that she truly cherished. She is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel Ray Lambert and Carlyn Jean Lambert, brother, Daniel Dale Lambert, and nephew Christopher Tanner.

Survivors include her husband, Roy B. Beeson Jr. of Oklahoma City, OK; sisters, Darla Creed and husband Jerry of Levelland, TX, and Danette Tanner of Carlsbad, NM; daughter, Misty Eagle and husband Tommy of Carlsbad, NM; son, Chad Campbell and wife Melonna of Yukon, OK; grandsons, Barrett Campbell, Brock Campbell, Taylor Bradford, Casey Bradford, Konnor Eagle, and Klayton Eagle; granddaughter, Khloe Eagle; great-grand kids, Jackson Eagle, Jaxon Bradford, and Taryn Bradford; Faith and Prayer Sister, Gwen Sims of Levelland, TX; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members that she loved so dearly.

Pallbearers will be Barrett Campbell, Brock Campbell, Konnor Eagle, Klayton Eagle, Casey Bradford, and Brad Murray. Honorary pallbearers will be all other nieces and nephews.
