Obituary Juana F. Olivas, 66, of Center Ave., passed away December 28, 2020 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center, Roswell, NM. Visitation will be 3 PM 6 PM, Sunday, January 3, 2020 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Visitation is limited to 5 people in the chapel at a time and facial coverings are required. Private services will be held at Dios Vivo with Pastor Javier Gonzalez officiating. Interment will follow in Loving Cemetery. Juana was born July 12, 1954 in Loving, NM, to Jose and Antonia (Gaitan) Fuentez. She married Adolfo S. Olivas December 24, 1972 in Carlsbad. Juana worked for Carlsbad Schools in several areas including the cafeteria and library. She enjoyed spending time with her church family and more importantly Juana cherished her relationship with her Lord and Savior. To my beloved sons and daughters, when I die please give thanks to God because I am set free. Please respect your partners always and tell your kidsyou love them very much every day. Juana was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters. Survivors are her husband, Adolfo Olivas, Sr.; children: Adolfo S. Olivas, Jr. and wife, Abby Gail, Martha Avila and husband, Moises, Alfredo Olivas and wife, Vanessa, Myra Juarez and husband, Jacob; grandchildren: Jolene, Nathaniel, Adolfo, III, Antonia, Ray Ray, Naomi, Michelle, Raquel, Rogelio, Lisset, Nallely, Yesenia, Lalo, Alfredo, Jr., Andres, Morriah, Joselyn, Jacob, Jr., and Micheal; great-grandchildren: Warek, Harleigh, Urijah, Roman, Isabella, Cruz and Naleya; siblings: Petra Olivo, Josefa Ramirez, Pedro Fuentez, Jessie Morales, Damacio Fuentez and Eddie Rodriquez. Pallbearers will be Adolfo Olivas, III, Nathaniel Freeman, Warek Granger, Alfy Olivas, Jr, Lalo Olivas and RJ Corral.
