Joyce A. Wilkins

Joyce A. Wilkins, 89, of Carlsbad, NM, passed away February 8, 2023 in Friona, Texas. There will be no visitation.  A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Friday, February 10, 2023 at Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, NM with Pastor Gary Davis officiating.

Joyce A. Wilkins was born February 19, 1933, in Paris, Texas to Hubert and Myrtle (Bradley) Jones. She lived in Friona, Texas for a number of years before moving to Roswell, NM then to Carlsbad.  Joyce enjoyed crafting and her friendships at the San Jose Senior Center. She was a member at the Happy Valley Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Michael Wilcox and sister in-law, Carol Jones.

Survivors are daughter, Anndrea Wilcox and husband, George of Lamesa, Texas; daughter, Dixie Williams of Houston, Texas; son, Charles Wilkins and wife, Rhonda of Friona, Texas; son, Eddie Wilkins and Tearsa of Carlsbad, NM; 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandsons; siblings: Carl Jones and wife, Sandy of Paris, Texas, Howard Jones of Carlsbad, NM and several nieces and nephews.
