Joseph O. "Joey" Moreno

Joseph O. “Joey” Moreno, 67, passed away January 11, 2026 at Carlsbad Medical Center. 

Cremation will take place.

Joey was born January 11, 1959, in Midland, Texas to Eliseo Ortiz and Alice (Olguin) Moreno. He served his country in the U.S. Army four years. Joey worked in construction for many years. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed listening to music.

 Joey was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: David Moreno, Henry Moreno, Gilbert Moreno, and Raul Moreno; sisters: Evelyn Moreno, Ida Molinar, and Linda Morena.

Survivors are his sisters: Emma Hernandez and husband, Armando, Sandra Ramirez, Norma Moreno, Doris Rubio and husband, Steve, Ruby Olivas and husband, Ralph; brother, Eliso “Cheo” Moreno, Jr.; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
