José was a very passionate and dedicated man when it came down to his work. He earned his CDL back in 2007 while living in Albuquerque NM, and later in 2009 moved to Carlsbad NM with his family to pursue his dreams. He worked as a truck driver in the oil industry and later on became the owner and operator of his own trucking company “JA Transport” which would only be the beginning of his success. Following the desire of becoming a great business man, Jose than launched his second business “Camping RV Park” where he provided a place to stay with stunning views over Lake Avalon. Not only did José spend long days in the shop and RV park handling any business matter that would arouse, but would spend as much time watering and caring for his trees. He loved the beauty in nature.
Jose loved going back to his second home in Mexico accompanied by his wife. They would visit any time they had the opportunity. This should’ve been his days vacationing, but he knew no days off. As a man of many trades, Jose was also a farmer. Growing crops such as chile, beans and corn. He enjoyed eating homemade tacos in the outdoors in his farm “El Palmar”. This was his pride and joy as he carried on his family tradition.
Jose was and will always be a very loved and respected person. His legacy will live through the beautiful family he left behind. Life threw so many curves at him not just on the road but his health. Despite that he was always persistent fighting through all the challenges he would come across. His family will always admire how strong and brave he was through all the battles he faced. He will be dearly missed by everyone that surrounded him, he’s now in a better place where pain no longer exists. El Cielo está de fiesta Papito, We Love you Dearly.
