Joanne, Cecilia Coggin, 67, of Carlsbad, NM, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. 

Visitation will be 4:00 PM - 6:00PM, Sunday, January 5, 2025 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 AM, Monday, January 6, 2025 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Howell Scott officiating. Interment will follow at Carlsbad Cemetery. 

Joanne was born March 25, 1957 in Roswell, NM to Ramon and Ercillia Ramos. 

Cecilia moved to Carlsbad in 1992. She worked for the Carlsbad Police Department in 2013 retiring in 2021. Her grandchildren were her whole world. She loved crocheting and cooking. She loved Peacocks. 

Joanne is survived by daughter, Pattie Fairhurst and husband Scott; son, Robert Grey Coggin; son, Ronny Coggin and wife, Billie; daughter, Michelle C. Dominguez and husband, Joseph; son, David Ceballos; son, Billy G. Coggin; son, Armando Ceballos and wife, Renee; son, Phillip Coggin and wife, Mickey; son, Mario Coggin; daughter, MiaCecilia Coggin; twenty-four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. 

Pallbearers: Phillip Coggin, Ramon Ramos, Mario Coggin, Armando Ceballos, Bobby Coggin, Ronny Coggin, Robert Coggin, Fabian Ceballos, Alisa Ramirez. Honorary Pallbearers: Nayeli Ceballos, Lee Franco, MiaCecilia Coggin, Michelle Ceballos-Dominguez, Erica Ramos, Joseph Dominguez, Jonathan Betancourt, Billie Coggin, Billy Coggin, Danny Franco Jr., Linzie Coggin.
